The winners of the first annual Best Health Blog Awards from Best Health Magazine were announced today. Congratulations, everyone!
Canadian blogs were nominated and voted for by readers in four categories: Look Great, Eat Well, Get Healthy and Embrace Life. Winners score a Best Health Blog Awards badge to display on their site, a congratulatory nod on besthealthmag.ca, recognition in the Summer 2011 of Best Health Magazine, and “enduring fame and fortune,” according to (as promised by?) Best Health.
Best Health is an award-winner itself — in 2010, besthealthmag.ca won Best Community Feature and was a finalist for Best Website, Best Blog and Best Cross-Platform at the Canadian Online Publishing Awards.
Congratulations to OhSheGlows.com, who is the Best Health Blog Award 2011 winner in the Eat Well category; to WeightyMatters.ca, who won in the Get Healthy group, and to 50GoodDeeds.com who took the award in Embrace Life. And thank you, thank you so much to all of you who voted beautygeeks into the badge-winning Look Great spot!

Ah ha ha! Let’s put in your public-appearance contract that no-one is allowed to look directly at you, like you’re Sly Stallone or something. I hear he does/did that when filming; extras were forbidden from making eye contact!
