Weleda is hangin' in Toronto today and tomorrow. The natural skincare brand is on a (biodiesel) truck tour of North America, making stops to educate consumers on the benefits of natural beauty care. From their customized vehicle, they're offering mini spa treatments, info on their biodynamic, respect-the-earth roots and what goes into their much-loved products (Calendula baby care, Skinfood -- and how did I live without Weleda Seabuckthorn everything?), as well as samples and coupons. Visitors can also record and upload a quick video for a chance to win a trip to the Weleda Spa in The Palisades, NY.
The Weleda Honestly Natural, Truly Beautiful Tour will be at the St. Lawrence Market today, Friday October 1st, at Front and Jarvis beside TD Bank. Hours are 10 am to 6 pm.
Tomorrow, Saturday October 2nd, Weleda will be outside the Holt Renfrew Centre at 50 Bloor St. W, between Yonge and Bay streets. Hours are 10 am to 6 pm.
For a little biodynamic background prep, peek at the story of my recent trip to Weleda's gardens in Schwäbisch Gmund, Germany for TheKit.ca. And pop by the brand's touring truck if you can. If you love natural beauty products but don't know Weleda, you'll become a fan. If you're ambivalent about natural beauty stuff -- as I was -- Weleda will surprise you -- as they did me.
Hey, Vancouver? Weleda will be in your fair city on October 15th and 16th.
Weleda products are available via Well.ca; free shipping in Canada.
