Actress Evan Rachel Wood, 22, is to be the face of Gucci's next perfume, according to Women's Wear Daily. Gucci's creative director Friday Giannini says she chose Wood for her "strong character," and because she isn't "overexposed" or "too well known."
If you're a "True Blood" fan, you've seen Wood as Queen Sophie-Anne Leclerq, playing vampire games with Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard -- *sigh*). She's lauded for her work in The Wrestler with Mickey Rourke, and before that Thirteen. You might also remember her from "Once and Again" with Sela Ward. Oh, and she's engaged to Marilyn Manson.
Gucci hasn't yet released specifics about the new women's fragrance. (I want deets on that lipstick!)
