Actually, seems that last minute is about all you'll need to get a smoky-eye effect similar to Drew's with CoverGirl's new shimmery Smoky ShadowBlast Eye Colour stick ($8.99 CAN). Here's the quickie breakdown:
1) You want your makeup to last all night, of course, so after curling your lashes, prep lids with a primer such as Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Eyeshadow Base.
2) Use ShadowBlast's fat rounded end all over lids as the base colour -- just crayon it on and blend a little with your fingertip.
3) Flip the shadow stick and with the pointy end, define the crease and upper and lower lashlines. Again, blend a little with your fingertip.
4) Finish with mascara.

Staff's pretty impressed with the available shades -- says they're easy, modern colour duos, wearable yet sophisticated. I agree.
Maybe I'll give her the night off.
Have a fantastic evening; see you on the flip side!
