Medi-spas and salons in Yorkville, Toronto are hosting a huge get-prettier promotion from October 28 to November 7th this year. Called Beautylicious, it offers consumers (men and women) a chance to check out spa and wellness packages as well as cosmetic-derm services at special price points of $25, $75 and $125.

More than 50 businesses are taking part. Top salons such as Oskar on Scollard Hair Studio, Salon Daniel, and Salon Escape (whose clients include BT's Dina Pugliese and Jennifer Valentyne) are offering blowdry, cut and colour services at each price level. When was the last time anyone managed to score a great cut and colour for under $200? Oskar is known for his talent with colour correction; a colour and cut is $125 during the Beautylicious event time period.

Clarins Skin Spa, Holt's Salon & Spa and Pure & Simple are among the spas offering great deals as well, such as hand-and-feet rejuvenating specials for $25, therapeutic facials for $75 and luxurious full-body treatments for $125.

Even the beauty doctors are in on the extravaganza. Dr. Cory Torgerson is the only dermatologist in Canada with 3-D photo-imaging technology that gives patients a glimpse of their post-services results before surgery; he's offering the $250 service free of charge. Glow Medi Spa's Dr. Diane Wong, who is known for her baby-steps approach to cosmetic work, is offering $25 laser removal for upper-lip and underarms, as well as infra-red skin tightening services for $125 and 10% off Botox and fillers. And Dr. Lisa Kellet, an often-quoted cosmetic dermatologist, is offering complimentary consultations, gifts with purchase from her Clear Clinical skincare, and complimentary lip enhancement, an injection-free topical treatment that usually runs about $150.
