I’m still marvelling at the insane artistry and craftsmanship of the designers who took part in this year’s White Cashmere Collection runway show. The photos on the official website are gorgeous, so I had to share a few — you know, in case you didn’t, er, have time to click over from my initial if I were post.

Vancouver designer and former “Project Runway Canada” contestant Carlie Wong makes such pretty frocks (that’s hers, above). If I were skinny….

Sunny Fong, last season’s “Project Runway Canada” winner, is a genius with a corset-bodice gown, even in bathroom tissue (above).

And Toronto-based jewelry designer Dandi Maestre makes the most fabulous one-of-a-kind, statement jewelry. Don’t have to be skinny to wear it.
I also love the hair and makeup in these shots — hey Cashmere folks, who did it?
All the images on Cashmere.ca are stunning; go look. Plus, there’s some contest about Paris or someplace, if you’re into that kind of thing. No big deal. Nope. (Don’t even bother with that contest thing. Seriously. Forget I mentioned it.)
Images unabashedly swiped from Cashmere.ca.

I’m skinny…i prob need to start rocking my skinnyness some more! it’s not the most popular thing to be ‘skinny’ here in Jamaica…most of the girls are all filled out..big butts..that ain’t me…this post really inspired me, thanks for making it!
lovely designs; just curious…if these were continuous rolls of paper, not the perforated squares, the early question in the original blog re wipes per dress would be a different calculation, n’est-ce pas?
I am dying over these dresses they are fantastic! I can’t get over them myself!
HAHAHA I entered the contest! I have never been to Paris in the Winter! I wonder if I should pack my Parka!!!!
The hair was by Marilisa Sears and the magnificent team at Marc Anthony. The make-up was by MAC Cosmestics.
BTW – If you’re a fan of Cashmere’s BT (bathroom tissue) couture, you can also check it out of Facebook. Just search ‘White Cashmere Collection’!

Thanks Max. Who was the specific makeup artist for the shoot? Or was it a team for the shoot too?
PS – although you asked about hair and make-up, I’d be wrong not to give credit to the brilliant photography of Koby Inc. and our collection curator Peter ‘The Perfectionist’ Papapetrou!
And yes, I knew Peter was the curator :-)
