F is for FABulous: Style with Lynn Spence at Sherway Gardens October 1

by Janine on 25 September 2009 · 4 comments

I love Lynn Spence. I met her back in my modelling moments a bunch of years back. A woman with terrific style herself, she has a wonderfully passionate yet no-nonsense approach to fashion, the ability to deliver sound wardrobe advice for every woman, and a way of making you feel… fabulous. Maybe because “fabulous” is one of her favourite unrestrainedly enthusiastic words, but you believe her. And of course you know all that from seeing her on “CityLine.”

On Thursday October 1st, at 10 am and 1 pm, you can see Lynn in person at Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke (Hwy 427 and the QEW). Along with Sherway’s personal shoppers and master stylist Victor from Soho Salon and Spa, Lynn will be talking style for all ages and figure types, and taking audience questions.

Tickets are $10 each and include refreshments and door prizes; pick ’em up from Sherway Gardens’ Guest Services. Proceeds will be donated to the Red Door Family Shelter, which offers crucial assistance to more than 600 families per year who need support and safe haven from domestic violence.

Great style, great cause. Fabulous.

Love, love, LOVE Lynn! I’ve not seen her in ages.

Lynn has always had the best style and design sense. This will be an amazing event to be sure. And only $10?! Deal!

If you’re going, please say hello to her from me will ya?

How weird that I didn’t answer you, Di — sorry about that (months later!). I wasn’t able to go, but if I see her anytime soon, I’ll tell her you said “hello” :-)

I was at the Sherway Gardens 1pm show and it was first class, fantastic. We were treated like royalty and it was so good to finally see and meet Lynn in person. She has such style savvy. Can’t wait for the next one.

Thanks for your lovely comment, Anne! Sounds like you really enjoyed Lynn and her event — awesome. There’s nothing like meeting someone you’ve seen on the teevee and finding out they’re as cool as they seem from your living-room viewpoint.
