Staff's been at me again to get my home office sorted out. Some nerve. Instead of getting her own tasks done, she spends most of her time loitering in coffee shops. Geez.
You, however, likely spend a good amount of time in an office or work setting actually accomplishing something. So you need something nice to look at while you invest in your career. All the better if that something nice is also useful, like maybe an attractive Post-It Note pop-up dispenser.
The folks at 3M thought so, and asked three internationally acclaimed Canadian fashion designers to contribute their artistic vision. The result is a limited-edition trio of Post-It dispenser inserts designed by Brian Bailey, celebrated for his elegant career and evening wear and now known as sage mentor to "Project Runway Canada" contestants, Marie Saint Pierre, the much-lauded Montreal designer and knight of the Ordre nationale du Québec, and Wayne Clark, long revered for his gorgeous, glamorous gowns.
Each dispenser retails for under $20 Canadian; individual inserts are $5. The Post-It folks are donating $1.00 from each dispenser sale and 20 cents from each insert sale to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Live-in-Canada subscribers(become one here) have a chance to win one of two $100-prize baskets, which include Post-It Notes, natch, and the three designer dispensers. Enter to win with a POST-IT NOTES email with your name, age, address and telephone number to email@example.com by Friday May 22.
Good luck getting into this sticky situation.
