I do keep going on about Chanel eye shadows. Can't help it. Luxury item for sure at $60, but worth it. Sheer silky textures in gorgeous shades that are more subtle on the skin than you'd think -- you just can't mess up.
This Spring's palette by Peter Philips, Global Creative Makeup Director for Chanel, was inspired by a 1939 Chanel couture collection of gypsy dresses and long pleated taffeta skirts with fitted blouses and colourful scarves. Sultry yet fresh, the Mystic Eyes quad includes a deep black-brown, sheer nude pink, shimmery silver and soft brown. Beautiful for all eye colours, particularly blue.
Go on, book yourself some perusal time at a Chanel counter near you. Come to think of it, I bet that's where my darned staff has got to. Sheesh.
