Don’t panic. I’m not saying there are seven things you aren’t doing to look your best. And I’m not saying you have to find an extra half-hour to add seven tricks to your routine.
You may already be doing five of those seven. And combined, they may add about seven minutes to your morning countdown, and that’s only if they’re new to you.
Here, see what I mean at BestHealthMag.ca.
And yes, brows are part of the equation (brow brush, CARGO; brow powder, Anna Sui).

Thanks, Janine. Great tips (and product recommendations)!
Great article!
So good to know there are BeautyGeek-approved options (ie. stuff you’ve tried and tested) that won’t break the bank!
I’m going to Shoppers today. Gonna use my points and get me that eyelash curler ’cause my other one is a hunk of junk that doesn’t hold the curl. Last time I went, I stood there looking at all the curlers and felt totally overwhelmed. Now I’m feeling all empowered – like an eyelash bully!
Today there will be victory for my wallet, my lashes, and my inner ‘n outer beauty geeks.
Thanks J! Viva la Geek!
Thanks Erica and You. Let me know how that bullying goes, You. *grin*
that’s a good photographer!
helps when both hands busy?
There I was, minding my own makeup business, and some strange chippie decided to play with her camera. Handy, yes?
Totally agree on most of these – especially the daily exfoliating, concealer, blush, & eyelash curling. I especially swear by daily exfoliating – makes a HUGE difference in my skin texture.
You said it, sister! That there are folks in the world who can’t exfoliate because their skin’s über sensitive makes me sad, actually. I’m a dork :-)
Thank you for this! I hit 6/7 but you helped introduce that 7th wonder – exfoliation!
I’ve always been horrified of exfoliating since I have acne and I’ve been long told that it spreads the germs and makes it worse yadda yadda. I’ve been adding a little apricot scrub into my daily face wash and it’s made a HUGE difference! My skin seems brighter, fresher and just generally healthier. Once I run out of my generic stuff, I think I’ll give one of your recommended products a go!
Thanks again!
Thanks for making this dork feel much better about being a dork, Susan!
