What took me so long to discover in-shower oil body cleansers? No matter. I know about them now.

As do my favourite oil facial cleansers, L'Occitane en Provence shower oils ($24 CAN/$22 US) lather up on damp skin and rinse off cleanly to leave skin soft and the tub -- er -- un-slippy.

I'm partial to L'Occitane's Grape Shower Oil. A blend of grape-seed and sweet-almond oils, it's a tad lighter in consistency than the brand's Almond Shower Oil, which I like, too -- it's just this one has a more delicate, less sugary fragrance. Both leave skin lightly moisturized post shower; body lotion on still-damp skin seals the soft in. Nice for this not-nice, winter-itchy time of year.

Seems like a good mix of oil and water to me. I'm fairly certain Clive-O and Daniel-C will agree.
