F is for Finally: Bath & Body Works in Canada

C.O. Bigelow is here! C.O. Bigelow is here!

C.O. Bigelow’s Mentha Lip Shine (recommended by my clever, super-cool friend Shelley Scarrow) and Lemon Hand Cream were my first two purchases from Bath & Body Works years ago on a press trip to NYC — or was it L.A.? Doesn’t matter. What matters is that I can now buy them from Bath & Body Works locations at Erin Mills Town Centre or Yorkdale Mall. In Mississauga or Toronto. Or in Guelph, London, or Edmonton. In CANADA.

I could go on for some time about the store’s extensive collection of something-for-everyone spa-inspired shower gels, lotions, body butters, scrubs, scents, gloss, candles, home fragrance and other accessories, and I could geek out about my new obsessions, Henri Bendel candles in Apricot, Tuberose, and Lemon Verbena, Slatkin & Co. candles and Scentports (stylish plug-ins) in Fresh Linen and Fresh Bamboo, Liplicious Tasty Lip Colour in Grapefruit and Watermelon Sorbet (natch), C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint in Magenta Mint… but that would just mean more time for you in front of the computer instead of browsing the shelves.

The Bath & Body Works website doesn’t ship to Canada, unfortunately, but it does list the new Canadian locations, including one slated to open in November at Willowdale’s Fairview Mall. If you live in Canada but far away from all those new stores, now might be a good time to make some new long-distance friends (sorry, Clive-O‘s taken).

Finally! I went to the US in August to stock up on supplies. “Shea it ain’t So” foot cream is truly decadent. It has avocado oil, eucalyptus oil and a bunch of other soothing ingredients. Truly my favourite foot cream of all time. It goes on a little oily so make sure you put socks on afterwards or you’ll leave foot prints all over your hardwood. Yorkdale, here I come!

I can’t even tell you how excited I am that B&BW is finally here… I have been a fan of their mentha lip shines for a couple of years now (I think at last count I have 7 on the go!?). Cinnamint is my favourite!

I absolutely have to recommend their mentha body wash (dark-ish green intense-looking tube) – your shower will be all kinds of awesome. Great for when you have a cold or if it’s a hot day! Oh, and pick one up for the dude(s) in your life, but be forewarned about using it in certain areas – it’s that strong!! ;)

Hey, I was there! I got black amythest oil to scent my room, and some south cotton body butter. Mmmm, I smell delicious. That store was crazy busy.

You were at the Erin Mills Town Centre store? Don’t you usually live far away from there? A B&BW online store for Canadians would be good for you, wouldn’t it? *grin*

I was visiting my friend who lives in Mississagua. The Erin Mills Town Centre is 5 min from her place. All we do when we get together is shop. Online B&BW would be very convenient.

I understand your excitement — they’re expanding fairly quickly now that they’ve landed, yay! I did a post several weeks ago on the shipping bit (http://tinyurl.com/kkpbke) and am waiting for the Eaton Centre opening this summer. I love so many things they carry.
